A timing problem related to the workaround for a bug in GTK+ and the window
manager's handling of focus events.  Please see Bug 95222 for background.

This bug is to cover fixing the real problem in SWT, while Bug 95222 will deal
with a suitably safe workaround for the 3.1 timeframe.
