Stable: 20020125

Needing to popup the menu and choose save in the synchronize view text pane is 
awkward. An aceelerator is really needed.

Yes. I thought we already had a pr around for this one. We should really make 
this work.

On a similar note, saving in the sync view should result in a progress monitor 
indicating what is happening (compiling, etc) when the resource is saved.

Mike, there is already a PR for progress monitoring during save.

The accelerator is the responsibility of the compare framework; the action is 
contributed in CompareMergeViewer. Moving to compare.
