Description Darin Swanson CLA 2005-03-25 00:12:30 EST
Using the occurrences finder coded up for mark occurrences it should be
relatively trivial to have a rename in file action for the Ant Editor
Comment 1 Darin Swanson CLA 2005-03-25 00:49:32 EST
Changes to:
Created RenameInFileAction
Nls'd in AntEditorActionMessages.properties
AntEditor to add the action to the context menu
Ant UI plugin.xml to add the command ALT-SHIFT-R for the action

PLease verify Jared.
Comment 3 Jared Burns CLA 2005-03-28 14:42:36 EST
Verified. Opened bug 89265 for a problem I found.

I also have a question - Do we have a feature request filed to move this action
to the "Quick Assist" (ctrl+1) menu or to emulate the JDT behavior if the
support isn't in the platform?

As a Java user, I hit ctrl+1 when I wanted to rename. I never would have thought
to look in the menu for the action if I wasn't verifying this bug.

There are rumors that the quick assist framework may be pushed down.

If it is pushed down we may move onto it...I agree it is what we want and we did
not have a bug report for it...filed as: bug 89309.

If it is not pushed down it is unlikely we would copy the wads of code needed
for the quick fix functinality.
