having problems to start eclipse and no internet-access drives mad! there's no reasonable way to find startup-parameters if one tries to start eclipse from scratch -- specifiying something like "--help" results in case of problems in a rather useless logfile but no information is given which parameters may be used.

25334 provides neither asolution nor a plausible reason for closing. as long as one needs a running eclipse to see the startup params i consider it a bug (e g the -data & -area switches to get the to eclipse obviously unknown "multiuser" behaviour ... )
