Description Stefan Xenos CLA 2005-02-16 17:15:01 EST
Options that open views automatically can be frustrating unless the view is
opened in direct response to user input. This can obscure another view of
interest or move keyboard focus unexpectedly.

Such options should be disabled by default.

The console view is only opened when there is something to display (std out or std err have been used).
I think it would be too confusing to new users if they had to find and open the console view manually
when they launched their first HelloWorld application.
Comment 2 Darin Wright CLA 2005-02-17 10:25:26 EST
The console options have been like this since day 1 - intentionally so that
users see output when it is produced. Adavanced users can turn off the
preference.
