I have the German keyboard set and also Firefox is running. Sometimes it happens
that Eclipse or the Firefox changes its keyboard settings to US keyboard. When I
restart the application it will work with the German keyboard again.

On windows, if you hit alt+shift (and no other keys) it sends a signal to the OS
to switch between languages you have installed.  Because we have key bindings
that use alt+shift, it's sometimes easy to accidently activate this feature.
