Description Ralf Hauser CLA 2005-01-13 03:07:40 EST
The solution is described in
http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.tools.jdt/msg06519.html, but
1) I am running jdk1.5 and there appears to be no way to select this
2) RFE: As a quick fix, it would be great if "Window > Preferences > Java >
Compiler > Compliance and Classfiles" or the project's equivalent would be opened
Comment 1 Olivier Thomann CLA 2005-01-13 10:24:06 EST
Quick is JDT/UI. Move to JDT/UI.
Comment 2 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2005-01-13 13:04:05 EST

Comment 4 Martin Aeschlimann CLA 2005-05-23 13:49:01 EDT
Message was 'Incompatible .class files version in required binaries. Project is
targeting a 1.? runtime, but is compiled against ... - cannot select 1.5.

Philippe, where can I find the constants for these problems?
Comment 5 Philipe Mulet CLA 2005-05-23 19:16:24 EDT
Marker type is: IJavaModelMarker.BUILDPATH_PROBLEM_MARKER
where problem should have for ID:
IJavaModelMarker.ID --> IJavaModelStatusConstants.INCOMPATIBLE_JDK_LEVEL

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
