Support for generics was released a while ago.

Generics are still not implemented completely withing JDT.Core.

There are still known issues (search, code-assist).

this issue depends on Bug 75642 (and otheres, which i've not identified).

Generics are implemented, there are still a few bugs in the compiler, for which
we already have specific bug reports. Leveraging all tools throughout JDTCore is
already planned.

I was under the impression that your defects were only related to the compiler
effort which is complete for this feature.

no, this was an initial 'agreement', to simplify things.

This Issue subjects (as implied by Product/Component) the overall JDT.Core
implementation of JSR-014 throughout JDT.Core.

Bug 75642 indicates that this is not yet resolved.

Please re-evaluate and re-open [and, if you like, add the open _implementation_
issues in the "depends on" field]
