Description Markus Keller CLA 2004-12-03 09:30:48 EST
I20041201-1139

I installed the new ASTView 1.0.2 from
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/jdt-ui-home/plugins/org.eclipse.jdt.astview/index.html
using Help > Software Updates > Find and Install.

I chose to load the plugin without restarting the workbench. Everything went
smoothly, except that the ASTView's 'Open View' shortcut 'Alt+Shift+Q, A' did
not work and the new view didn't appear in the keybindings dialog.

Restarting the workbench solves the issue.

This really should have just worked. Hrm. Possibly Chris never got around to
hooking up the command/context/keybindings to listen to registry changes? The
API is designed to handle things appearing and disappearing....

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
