Description Pierre Forestier CLA 2004-11-24 09:17:18 EST
Windows XP/Eclipse 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1M3
Platform/Team/Target Management/Site Explorer

Two problems with directory names:

I add FTP targets in Site Explorer view

I tested both locally with IIS FTP and with a remote site with Linux OS
installed. It worked fine using UtraEdit-32. But with Eclipse:

1-directories with numeric names like 2000, 2001, ... are not displayed at all,

2-directories with names containing spaces like "fuel cell" are displayed but
not their content (directories with names like "fuel_cell" work fine),

when trying to open the "fuel cell" directory in IIS FTP target I get message:
An exception occured
550 -a: Le fichier spécifié est introuvable.

Very easy to reproduced, it is a blocking problem if you try to maintain a web
site with Eclipse. A pity because Eclipse is a nice option to manage a web site
development with both CVS an FTP synchronization.
