On the Advanced Search screen, you can select which plug-ins to search 
through.  Unfortunately, you have to always go back to the Advanced Search 
screen to continue to use just those plug-ins.  If you just click the search 
button on the main search screen, it goes back to selecting all plug-ins by 
default.  It would be nice to keep just your selection and force you to go 
back to Advanced search only when you want to change the selection.

This has been fixed for 3.0.  See bug 37703.
