Description Michael Desmond CLA 2004-10-08 09:46:26 EDT
For Advanced/rich SWT UI's it would be desirable to have transparent SWT
Labels.

i.e. ORing SWT.TRANSPARENT (i just made this up) to the Label style parameter
would make the label a transparent widget and whatever is drawn behind the
label will show through.

As an example placing a label on a canvas with a bacground image will allow
the background image to show through.

However the accelerator support provided by the label is still required for
accessibility.

This bug is currently preventing the use of SWT is some of IBM Workplace
client applications.

Thanks
