Description DJ Houghton CLA 2004-09-30 16:02:58 EDT
It would be nice if the "toString()" of tables and maps in the Variables ->
Details view was a little easier to read. It would help a lot if a newline char
was added after each entry so it looked like:

key=value,
key2=value2

rather than have it concatinated all on one line.

As a workaround, I was going to suggest a detail formatter, however, I ran
into a bug generating one for you (see bug 75643).
Comment 2 Darin Wright CLA 2004-10-13 12:08:06 EDT
NOTE: in latest I-build, the detail formatter suggested in bug 75643 now works.
Comment 3 DJ Houghton CLA 2004-10-13 12:22:37 EDT
Cool...works great. Thanks.
Comment 4 Darin Wright CLA 2004-10-15 14:04:37 EDT
This requires the feature in bug 75418 (i.e. to ship pre-canned detail
formatters). As well, it would be nice to be able to specify a detail
formatter for an interface, rather than a concrete type.
Comment 5 Darin Wright CLA 2005-02-23 15:09:27 EST
Do not intend to pre-ship detail formatters. Do plan to allow for detail
formatters on interfaces (see bug 64696).
