Description Genady Beryozkin CLA 2004-09-24 16:31:00 EDT
1. The backwards regex search still considers characters
AFTER the position provided by the "find" method.

2. If there is a partial match from the start point forward (see point 1), the
backwards search does not consider extending the match to account for the text
before the start position.

For example backwards search of \w+ in "hello wo|rld" starting from the pipe
position will find "rld" and not "world" or "wo" (as expected by point 1).
