When installing a plug-in via the update manager, the Free Space and Required Space fields are zeroed out. Shouldn't they display their respective values appropriately?
The Required Space is unknown becase the feature.xml does not define the space it needs (there is no automatic detection). The Free Space should be displayed. Can you attach a screen shot? Thanks.

Worth noting, this screen cap was taken on a Windows 2003 Server system.
thanks. On my XP machine, I do get the free space. The free space is obtained by running some native code, so perhaps that native code does not work on all windows versions.
Created attachment 39163 [details] Update Manager dialog. It is not possible to install the plugin since eclipse believes there is no room (actual free space ~40 GB). I'm running Windows XP x64. This worked on 3.2M6.
I just went back to 3.1.2 which doesn't correctly calculate the disk space either. However, the Finish button is not greyed out due to 0 kb free disk space in 3.1.2 so I am able to complete the installation.
This is bug in RC1 that has been fixed in the latest builds. Let me find the number.
Intersting that it shows up alos on Windows XP 64 though
perhaps because the native code for computing available space is in a fragment that is filtered by os/ws/arch tupple.
