In the Emacs key configuration, when typing e.g., Esc B (to go to the previous word): - type "Esc": puts keybinding in its 'waiting for next key' mode ("Esc" is displayed on the status line) (OK), *BUT* a KeyEvent for Esc is also sent to the widget (not OK) - type "B": the previous word command is run (OK), a KeyEvent for B is not sent to the widget (OK). As long as the Esc is being consumed by the key binding, it should NOT be also sent to the widget...
