Description quartz quartz CLA 2004-07-08 11:01:31 EDT
problem view columns positions are not persisted.

I have a view that has no problems in it (filtered warnings, of course).
Although I know I set the columns divisions positions manually, they are not
restored.

This also applies to the Tasks View. There may be additional Views which make
use of the SWT Table and also have the same problem, though 'Problems' and
'Tasks' are the only two I really use.

I am using 3.1

It seems that the column sizes are persisted, but only under specific conditions:
- open the problem view
- size the columns
- with the problem view open, click on the Ecplise menu File/ Exit

This will persist the column sizes. But, the sizes are "lost" sometimes and I have not determined a pattern.

Ok, it seems that the problem settings are "lost" when I set the columns in another view, such as Tasks. The Problem sizes had been retained for over two weeks, until I set the task sizes.

Comment 5 quartz quartz CLA 2008-05-29 20:29:09 EDT
This bug is absolutely not a duplicate of 57538, which has nothing to do with a view remembering it layout.
Comment 6 Tod Creasey CLA 2008-05-30 08:24:05 EDT
That was clearly a typo - I can't find the bug that I should have typed currently but this is fixed in 3.4 RC2 (just verified).

Sorry for the red herring.
