Description David W Hare CLA 2004-07-06 18:00:40 EDT
From the main Workbench view, click the Task menu (drop down arrow) and select
Filters. There are duplicated mnemonics for (D).

See the attached screenshot.

Combined bug 69424 and bug 69423 into one bug report.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 69423 ***
Comment 3 Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2004-07-29 11:44:24 EDT
I don't see this as a duplicate. The filtering dialog uses different strings
and in fact uses d three times, 'Deselect' 'description' and 'Restore Defaults'

The problem of using D 3 times is gone now but W is used twice.

apply patch to org.eclipse.ui.ide in 3.1.1 stream

Well it took writing down all the 20 mnemonics used on this page, but it is
possible to use 20 different mnemonics for this page. This patch should do it.
Need to apply to 3.2 stream as well.
Comment 11 Karice McIntyre CLA 2005-09-15 11:57:10 EDT
Tod, can you apply this patch to 3.1.1 ? Not sure if the same patch will work
for 3.2. There was a duplicate W even after fixing this for 3.1.1 the last
time.
Comment 12 Karice McIntyre CLA 2005-09-15 12:00:35 EDT
I see the filters view has changed quite a bit in 3.2 (and that there are
duplicate mnemonics). E is used 3 times, I is used twice.
Comment 13 Karice McIntyre CLA 2005-09-16 11:52:43 EDT
Patch released
Comment 14 Karice McIntyre CLA 2005-09-26 14:26:18 EDT
Verified in 3.1.1 RC2 for English but not for Chinese (W is used twice) - need
to get new catalogs to check NL. Used 0816 catalogs.
Comment 15 Karice McIntyre CLA 2005-09-26 16:38:56 EDT
NOT verified using RC2 Chinese, 0923 catalogs - N is used twice.
Comment 16 Karice McIntyre CLA 2005-09-27 10:58:18 EDT
Too late for changes to translated files at this point. Changing target to
3.2. This dialog is getting a re-design for 3.2.
Comment 17 Karice McIntyre CLA 2006-04-13 11:37:44 EDT
This bug is only still valid in the 3.1.x stream. Changing target.
Comment 18 Karice McIntyre CLA 2006-06-28 16:58:24 EDT
There will be no further releases into the 3.1.x stream as 3.2 is shipping soon. This dialog was re-designed for 3.2 and it therefore not a valid bug to target against 3.2. Resolving as wontfix.
