Description Paul Sanchez CLA 2004-07-05 18:35:25 EDT
Add native support for Subversion.

Subversion is intended as a modern replacement for CVS, it would be nice if it
were as well integrated into Eclipse as CVS is. The subclipse plugin is
progressing slowly, and the author has done evil things such as hardwiring
library locations in the MacOS X implementation (which cause Eclipse to crash if
you build your own copy of svn rather than using Fink).

It is a shame that eclipse does not support subversion (brings back some
memories of companies sticking to "DOS" and refusing to port their software to
"Windows"). Netbeans announced at JavaOne 2005 that they are going to support
Subversion. Eclipse fundation should reconsider.
