Description Helen Sinelnikow CLA 2004-06-09 11:45:27 EDT
I have an existing project shared with CVS. Delete .metadata folder. Start
Eclipse 200406082000. Import the project. Select "Team->Share", it will prompt
to enable CVS, say "yes". Switch to Package Explorer. There are packages with
names like "CVS", "com.CVS" and so on. "Delete" project and say "do not delete
contents". Import it again. Now the dummy packages are gone.

What happens if you close/reopen the project. Do the packages disappear as
well ?
Comment 2 Helen Sinelnikow CLA 2004-06-10 06:47:29 EDT
No, that's not enough.
Comment 3 Helen Sinelnikow CLA 2004-06-10 07:17:25 EDT
Oh, actually yes. And it seems I swapped two steps. It should read "Start
Eclipse 200406082000, import the project, open Package Explorer and behold
the ".CVS" packages, then share the project". And the same goes for the
Navigator view - it also shows "CVS" packages when CVS is disabled, they don't
disappear from view when it is enabled, and "Refresh" doesn't help. So it's
Platform.
