Not sure whether this is UI or SWT, please forward as needed.

- navigator view (for demonstration purposes)
- have enough nodes open so you can scroll around vertically a couple times the
size of the viewpart
- go to the top of the tree
- press and hold the DOWN cursor for a while, then switch to UP and let go
-> Observe: the selection in the tree jumps around after letting go.

It seems not just to repeat events that have been put into the keyboard queue.
For example, when going UP for a while, letting go the UP key will cause the
selection to go down a couple of entries.

I also found this related behavior:
- go to the last item in the navigator tree
- go up a couple of items
- press and hold PAGE_DOWN
-> sometimes, the selection will only go to the second last item, or flicker
between the two last items
-> moving the mouse thereafter also lets the selection jump around

Sounds like GTK-specific behaviour. I assume you don't have single click open
mode selected in the preferences.

CAR to reproduce and assess. Could be native behavior or Eclipse playing with
the Tree. Could also be us ...

Couldn't reproduce and this is ancient bug. Marking as fixed. Please reopen if you can still reproduce.
