Description Grant Gayed CLA 2004-06-01 17:13:05 EDT
RC1

- go to Window -> Preferences, Java - Editor page
- on the Syntax tab turn on "Enable advanced highlighting"
- on the Typing tab turn off "Analyze annotations while typing", press OK
- open any java file that has instance variable(s)
- note the instance variables' initial colouring
- now type something valid into the editor (eg.- hit Return on a blank line)
and the colouring of the instance variables will change

This seems like a strange time to change syntax colouring. This does not
happen if "Analyze annotations while typing" is left turned on, but unless I'm
missing the intent of this option I don't see its connection here.

There is no AST passed to SemanticHighlightingReconciler#reconciled(...) on the
initial reconcile, when "Analyze annotations while typing" is disabled.
