Description Judson Lester CLA 2001-11-23 19:56:37 EST
Emacs has a nice behavior when editing code, in that it jumps to the proper
indentation at each newline, etc. A general enforcement of indenting
guidelines would be quite nice. Niavely, after each editing keystoke,
reformat the code to match the style guidelines laid out in the preferences.

Comment 2 Johan Walles CLA 2002-03-06 03:02:13 EST
Could somebody with write access to this bug change its summary to something
more informative, like "auto indent line on newline" or "enforce indenting
guidelines"? Emacs has lots of behaviour, so "Emacs-a-like behaviour" isn't too
informative.

This is a dupe of bug 4134. Somebody authorized, please mark it as such.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
