Description Mike Han CLA 2004-04-25 09:21:17 EDT
I'm not sure if any configurations will need to be done here, but I've
downloaded the build M8 for Eclipse 3.0 and this happens by default.

Bascially when Code Assist brings up a list of methods, the focus will not be
at this list. You cannot type anything from here onwards unless you press ESC
or you press Tab to bring the focus to this list.

Actually this also happens when I was doing the coding half way and my mouse
happens to be placed on some variables. This will bring up the fully quantified
class name details of that variable and the focus of my cursor will be lost.
Nothing can be done from here unless you press ESC or you press Tab to bring
the focus to this box.

Any idea?

re: bug 39459, comment 10:
We are using 3.0 M8 (and newer builds) without problems under WindowsXP SP1.

>I am using Windows XP SP4
Not even SP2 is out of the door yet.
