New elements has been added in the AST API to manage Java 1.5.
The breakpoint location verifier should be updated to manage correctly this new
elements.

But will the new nodes have an implementation in 3.0? (I think the answer is 
that the API exists, but the implementation does not).

I'm not sure what will be in 3.0, but the implementation will be in the JDT
patches for Java 1.5.
I filed this bug when I closed bug 53334, more as a reminder for myself than
anything else.
The fix for bug 53334 helps a lot to be able to set breakpoint in 1.5 code, but
there are certainly cases when it's not enough.
