Description Hrvoje Lončar CLA 2022-03-22 09:17:26 EDT
If I select a Java class name in Java editor and press Alt+Shit+T, a popup pops out. Then I select "Rename..." and nothing happens.
When I switch to Eclipse STS 4.13.1 and do the same, I enter the inline rename process when Java class name is editable.
Switching back to Eclipse STS 4.14.0 this feature is not working.

I have tested this in 4.23 and it works for me. We do not support 4.14 you have to upgrade to 4.23.

We do not support STS, it is not our product. If you want support for it then please try here:

It was about Eclipse 4.23 which is the base for Eclipse STS.
The future will show, I'll wait and see what happened.

I have installed STS 14 for you and also there ALT+SHIFT+R works normally.

Please install a new STS 14 and then add any of the additional plugins that you have like antlr, anyedit, spotbugs, etc.. to see which one breaks Eclipse.

Do you use Lombok? Then this is probably a duplicate of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=579168

Solution for Lombok problem is here: https://github.com/projectlombok/lombok/issues/3134#issuecomment-1069662386
