I use eclipse sdk 3.0M8 build20040326.The text editor can not display chinese.

Did previous builds work before? If so, which ones?
Try setting the default text file encoding to ASCII (Preferences > Workbench >
Editors)

Yes.I use eclipse since version 2.1 and I used v2.1,v3.0M1-M7,they all work well.
I tried all available encodings,and none works.
