Description Matthew Conway CLA 2004-03-26 11:03:12 EST
Keybindings (custom or built in) seem to mysteriously stop responding on
occasion, but start working again if I switch perspectives.

I've had success duplicating this by hitting ctrl-shift-r, then dismissing the
dialog with ESC. Now keybindings won't work till I switch perspectives

May be related to Bug 56321 - which window system are you using?
Comment 2 Matthew Conway CLA 2004-03-26 12:01:12 EST
Using the eclipse-gtk distribution with GTK 2.2.4 (stock gtk that comes with
fedora core 1)
As far as I can tell, bug 56321 points to an unrelated bug, perhaps you meant a
different one?

FYI, this is still happening with 200403260800, and is a pretty annoying bug =)

I tried it with a completely clean install, no external plugins, new ~/.eclipse,
new workspace. Opened a few files, ctrl-shift-r, esc, then ctrl-f6 doesn't work
till something gets reset by switching perspectives.

Yes, this is a duplicate of Bug 56231. A workaround should be in the 1300
build today. No guarantees it will work in all cases, but it should keep it
from happening too often.
