In the new infra, in case of unanticipated comparator errors, the build is automatically marked as unstable and not added to the I-build composite repository. Good.

However, no notification is available on platform-releng. In the old infra, this was indicated in the I-build e-mail.

Not everyone is looking at each build, so, the problem might be there for a while i.e. it might not get fixed.

Alex mentioned in bug 561609 comment 1 that this will be a "huge task".

Obviously we already have the code that detects unanticipated comparator errors, so, maybe it would be possible to send a separate e-mail exactly at that point. This would also raise awareness of the problem compared to just add it to the I-build e-mail.
