Define 2 or more stacked non-restorable views in a perspective. Run the app. Expected behavior: All the views should be visible in the stack. Actual behavior: Only the top view in the stack appears. If you close that view, the next view magically appears. Only reproducible for non-restorable views Reproducible in 4.8, 4.11, 4.12, master. Not reproducible in 4.6.1
Broken in this commit https://github.com/eclipse/eclipse.platform.ui/commit/6ca4be665371fce8141336cd9f3cc624f3409cb1 NO_RESTORE views are unconditionally skipped when the stack renderer is being set up. This is wrong, NO_RESTORE should only affect restarting the workbench.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
