The third editor state "active with no focus" seems to have disappeared.

In 2.1.3 when an editor was active but did not have focus its tab was painted
white (one of the gradient values).  You can use
ITheme.getColorRegistry().get(IWorkbenchThemeConstants.INACTIVE_TAB_BG_START) to
obtain this color (or its theme specific equivilent).
