The EGit helper text is centered, which looks IMHO misplaced. The new helper text in the package explorer looks IMHO better.

I suggest to align the EGit layout with the platform layout.

I think this was already implemented in
https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/136523/
and is part of the new 5.3.0 release shipped today
