417-419 tests failed with Java 8.

Tests are failing locally as well. Will be looking at it.

I see two kinds of failures, disregarding the odd ones here and there:

1. A generic "Cannot connect to VM"
2. Unrecognized option: --enable-preview

I am surprised we are already passing --enable-preview to the JVM. Or is it the tests that are passing this?
