I've put all the project leads in CC. This will be disruptive to your developers and community. We cannot set up redirects. We're still working out the timing, but expect that we will initiate this in the next couple of weeks. The following repositories (Git and Gerrit) need to be moved from git.polarsys.org to git.eclipse.org: polarsys.3p,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/3p/3p.git polarsys.arcon,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/arcon/org.polarsys.arcon.git polarsys.b612,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/b612/b612.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-addons.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-basic-vp.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-filtering.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-gitadapter.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-requirements-vp.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-sss-transition.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-studio.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-tools.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-xhtml-docgen.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-xmlpivot.git polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella.git polarsys.chess,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/chess/chess.git polarsys.esf,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/esf/esf-connectors.git polarsys.esf,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/esf/esf-documents.git polarsys.esf,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/esf/esf-infra.git polarsys.esf,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/esf/esf-tools.git polarsys.esf,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/esf/esf.git polarsys.esf,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/esf/test-esf.git polarsys.kitalpha,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/kitalpha/kitalpha-addons.git polarsys.kitalpha,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/kitalpha/kitalpha.git polarsys.opencert,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/opencert/opencert.git polarsys.opencert,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/opencert/www.git The projects that own these repositories are candidates for termination (see bug 543543). polarsys.cotsaq,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/cotsaq/cotsaq.git polarsys.pop,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/pop/org.polarsys.pop.git polarsys.reqcycle,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/reqcycle/reqcycle.git polarsys.rover,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/rover/rover-website.git polarsys.rover,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/rover/rover.git
A new git repository has appeared since the previous comment and need also to be moved. polarsys.capella,git://git.polarsys.org/gitroot/capella/capella-cybersecurity.git Thanks Philippe
Polarsys serves many of these via it's own Gerrit instance. I've looked into options to import these into into the Eclipse.org Gerrit instance, but have been unable to get any of the recommendations working. So since we're going to lose this review history that means projects can elect to move to Github since it will cause the same disruption as moving to the Eclipse.org Gerrit instance. If I haven't heard from anyone(via this bug or another one) by January 15th,2020 I'll just do a hard transfer to our Gerrit instance. -M.
Hi, Ok, we will do some experiments on GitHub and we keep you noticed for Kitalpha and Capella projects. Best regards, Philippe
Hi, After some tests, we would like to move Eclipse Kitalpha and Eclipse Capella to Github. I have created to sub bugzilla: Eclipse Kitalpha: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=558454 Eclipse Capella: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=558455 Thanks Best regards Philippe
Ok the repos for 3p, Chess and ESF have all been moved to the Eclipse.org Gerrit instance, and the dev lists notified. All other projects are already on Github. The only thing left is that the PMI needs to stop generating links to git.polarsys.org for these source repos. I'll talk to the webdev team about it. -M.

The script that harvests information out of Gerrit for the PMI will take care of it (I manually ran the script, so it's all updated now).
Sweet! -M.
