The 2018-12 M1 splash screen says "2018-09"
This is still the case on M3. Can someone point me in the right direction and I can do it.
Someone please look into this asap!
@Pierre-Charles: you were the one able to provde derived splash screens for 2018-09. Do you think you can also provide the 2018-12 variations? https://git.eclipse.org/c/epp/org.eclipse.epp.packages.git/tree/packages/org.eclipse.epp.package.common contains the .ai file. You may submit a Gerrit patch with a replacement for this .ai file and the splash.bmp file.

(In reply to Pierre-Charles David from comment #5) > Actually, not before tuseday. How urgent is it? Tuesday is fine for EPP packages. @Dani: do we need also the "Eclipse [Date]" instead of "Eclipse IDE" one for Platform? If yes, would Tuesday be fine?

Platform and SDK are already up-to-date. We only have to fix the date for the packages: 2018-09 -> 2018-12.
Created attachment 276814 [details] Splash screens Attached are .ai and .bmp versions of the splash screens for 2018-12, 2019-03, 2019-06, 2019-09, and 2019-12. If the background image is not changed until then, we should be good for a year :)

I've merged the december ones: https://git.eclipse.org/c/epp/org.eclipse.epp.packages.git/commit/?id=ac3e1b3ff74360c671878ea82f77bbf49e7994fa However, it seems to the '8' is asymmetric and looks a bid odd. Anyone else has the same feeling or it's just me nitpicking too much?

Hard to say. (Attached both 2018-09 and -12 next to each other to compare)

(In reply to Pierre-Charles David from comment #12) > Created attachment 276827 [details] Sorry: here's a new version (thanks to Loredana our graphics designer for her quick reaction).
Splash screen was updated. Let's mark it as resolved and reopen if there are further concerns.

Not that it is any of my business (directly) but I'd suggest the graphics be created with a free package, such as Inkscape or Gimp. Based on the ".ai" extension I assuming these are created with Adobe Illustrator. It not only seems more fitting, for an open source project to use a "free" program, but practically speaking it does make it easier to change by nearly anyone in the future. While the source files can be loaded with Inkscape, it seems then to be only a few bit map objects -- nothing broken out in detail, such as the date. That might just be a function of importing it into inkscape. I don't have Adobe Illustrator to check. :) Just a suggestion.

(In reply to Dani Megert from comment #15) > I suggest to open new bugs for the upcoming splash screens and attach the > given splash screens (attachment). I've put all the .ai and .bmp in the org.eclipse.epp.packages repo, in a "splash" folder just besides the splash.bmp. The folder is not part of the delivery. I hope that we'll easily think about making the change with this folder being visible to EPP developers.
