Description Nick Edgar CLA 2004-03-01 17:29:42 EST
build I20040227

It's nice that manual builds are now background jobs. I generally run with
autobuild turned off, and use Ctrl+B a lot. I find that when I hit it now, I
don't get any feedback that my action has taken effect. Particularly if it's
already up-to-date.

I imagine that background builds are not going to be the only background
operation triggered by the user that will have this problem.
There should be a common way of indicating that the user's request has been
honoured but that there is no work to do.

Even a short cursor change would suffice. E.g. as in saving a short plain text
file.
