Created attachment 271212 [details] Screen shot "step1.png" How to reproduce for example with Bugzilla entries from Eclipse.org: 1. Create a query for Bugzilla entries. My query selected open bugs from the Mylyn project. 2. Double-click an entry in the query result. A task editor window is opened (see screen shot "step1.png") 3. Double-click a second entry in the query result. A second task editor window is opened (see screen shot "step2.png"). 4. Re-arrange the task editor windows to see them side-by-side (see screen shot "step3.png"). Expected result: The Description and Comments texts are reformatted to fit the task editor windows. The width of the "New Comment" subwindow is adapted to the width of the task editor window. This was the behavior before Oxygen as far as I can recall. Actual result: The width of the texts and the "New comment" subwindow are not adapted to the width of the task editor window. A scroll bar appears. This is undesirable as one cannot read the texts without using the scroll bar, and when typing into the "New comment" window the cursor disappears into an invisible area. Another manifestation of the bug is that the scroll bar appears immediately when the task editor window is narrowed, for example by widening the "Task List" window (see screen shot "step4.png").

I can no longer reproduce this with Eclipse Photon, so apparently this has been fixed.
