Description Konrad Kolosowski CLA 2004-02-19 23:51:22 EST
N20040219 build. With the new look the buttons to change perspective got
moved to the right.
Please move buttons to switch between perspectives back, somewhere in the
second quadrant of the window.
I find myself switching perspectives between PDE, Debug, and CVS more often
than switching any views. Frequently used button should be in the top left
quarter of the window. I (as a user) can move other toolbars but do not see a
way of moving perspective buttons.
Besides being used to old look, I think having perspective buttons too much to
the right is counter intuitive. I do not think a new user for which
perspective suddenly changes to CVS will find the buttons to switch back to
Java perspective if they remain where they are now. The horizontal line that
runs to the left of the buttons and divides application toolbar from views in
perspective is even too short, so it is not clear that perspective switching
buttons apply to the whole area below aka "perspective".
