Hi,

This is my first time here and tried to follow the guidelines before raising this bug. I have searched through forums to see if this is already raised but could not find anything therefore raising it. My apologies in advance if I missed it :)

Steps to reproduce.

1. Launch Eclipse 4.6.2 and create one workspace. Start working on a project.
2. Restart Eclipse and it will show the last used workspace to work with which is expected behaviour.
3. Now restart the system.
4. Launch Eclipse again and it won't show the last worked workspace option. it only show the default workspace [/Users/rakesh.kumar/Documents/workspace].

I have to browse and select the last worked workspace. This is not the expected behaviour and seems a bug to me.


System Details:

MacBook Pro Retina 16 GB
OS - macOS Sierra 10.12.4


Please let me know if more information is needed.

Sounds like a duplicate of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=507328

And the answer is likely "due to App Translocation".
