Description Markus Keller CLA 2017-02-09 10:39:06 EST
There are a few Equinox API packages that are not included in the Javadocs in org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv.

See https://wiki.eclipse.org/How_to_add_things_to_the_Eclipse_doc#Adding_new_API_packages for the process

http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/I20170208-2000/testresults/ep47I-unit-win32_win32.win32.x86_8.0/org.eclipse.ua.tests.doc.AllTests.txt ends with a list "* Undocumented exported API package" that mostly contains external dependencies, but these packages should either not be exported as API in the manifest or be added to the docs:

org.eclipse.equinox.concurrent.future
org.eclipse.equinox.console.common
org.eclipse.equinox.console.common.terminal
org.eclipse.equinox.console.completion.common
org.eclipse.equinox.events
org.eclipse.equinox.log
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.metadata.io
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.repository.tools.analyzer
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.repository.tools.comparator
org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator.manipulator

org.eclipse.osgi.container
org.eclipse.osgi.container.builders
org.eclipse.osgi.container.namespaces
org.eclipse.osgi.report.resolution
org.eclipse.osgi.service.pluginconversion
org.eclipse.osgi.service.urlconversion

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
