If you open the "Go To Line" Dialog (CTRL+L) and enter some non-digit character, e.g. "abc", a label occurs stating "Not a number". If the cursor focus rests in the input field and you press tab, the focus jumps to this label instead of the cancel button Using: Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers Version: Neon Release (4.6.0) Build id: 20160613-1800
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
Still an issue in 4.11 M1. Kalyan, an easy one for you for 4.12.
The Error message was made as a tabbable element (from Label to Text) because of Bug 61069 - [Dialogs] InputDialog error message not accessible. If this is no longer required we can change it back to Label from Text. We will need to take a call on it.
(In reply to Kalyan Prasad Tatavarthi from comment #3) > If this is no longer required Accessibility is always required.
No plan to fix this as it will break Accessibility which was fixed for bug 61069
