Eclipse Marketplace

Running:

Fedora 25 default with xorg-x11-drv-nouveau.x86_64
java version "1.8.0_111"

Eclipse Platform

Version: Neon.1 (4.6.1)
Build id: M20160907-1200


Problem:

Select Help -> Check for Updates

Window opens with all available updates but the next - finish buttons etc are not visible within the window.


Temporary fix:

Open the window full screen and you can just see the tops of the buttons at the bottom of the window.  Double click to resize the window back to normal size briefly shows the buttons before they disappear again.



Included an image of how the eclipse marketplace shows.

Looks like you increased the default font size in your Fedora, isn't it?

This is duplicate of bug 508692 because Fedora 25 uses wayland by default. There are 3 options:
1. launch via `GDK_BACKEND=x11 ./eclipse` to force eclipse to use XWayland in your current session.
2. select `Gnome on X11` when logging in
3. use latest I-build which has this bug fixed.
