Description Andrea Aime CLA 2004-01-21 05:05:14 EST
One of the most simple feature I miss from Netbeans is the ability
to simply press F6 and have the current file open in the editor
launched according to its nature (application, applet).
Currently I use ALT-R-S-2 to launch a java app, but it's combersome
at best.

We have two feature request open that cover this request:

See bug 18338 and bug 28659. Having context menu launching with a key-binding
will be what you want.
