With the changes from bug 44343, most of the tasks in the buildfile remain as 
UnknownElements. Therefore the user will not find a number of errors until the 
build actually occurs.

It should be possible to add an action to resolve/configure all of the tasks in 
the build to find any and all problems.

This works simply for the easy cases but is harder to implement for anything 
that requires the Ant runtime classpath (read implies using a classloader).
