Description Daniel Sheppard CLA 2004-01-13 05:10:00 EST
Several editors, notably including jEdit, allow the file line ending to be
defined rather than just using the default. In multi-platform environments it
can be useful to define the line ending, particularly if discs are cross-mounted.
Comment 1 John Arthorne CLA 2004-01-14 12:37:40 EST
This option exists. See Source > Convert Line Delimiters ...
Comment 2 Daniel Sheppard CLA 2004-01-14 12:45:34 EST
This means that I need to remember to change the line endings every time. What
would be more convenient is if I could override the system default in the
preferences to define the policy of using the line endings of my choice.
Comment 3 John Arthorne CLA 2004-01-15 11:28:15 EST
Moving request to platform text component.
