Description Dirk Fauth CLA 2016-06-15 05:22:07 EDT
While checking the supported elements on the @Component annotation I noticed that the xmlns element doesn't have an effect.

I tried to set

@Component(xmlns="http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/scr/v1.2.0")

on a simple component, but it doesn't update the Component Description XML file. At least it didn't if I only change the xmlns element. If I additionally change something else, the xmlns element value is set accordingly.

Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2019-08-27 18:15:29 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
