Description Greg Beams CLA 2004-01-01 16:04:28 EST
The default font in the left pane in the Mac OS X port is huge. It would be
nice if this could be changed. Also, the font in the editor always defaults to
an antialiased font. It would be great if the user could select if this font is
antialiased or not (Monaco 9 and 10 are real popular for this).

The editor font can be set in Window -> Preferences, Workbench - Fonts.

If by the "left pane" you mean the navigator tree, this font is just picked up
from the system. There should be a way to change it externally, but I don't
have a mac available so I'm not sure how. Moving to SSQ.

I know where I can play with the fonts with Eclipse but I was more interested in the ability to select
whether the font in the editor pane was antialiased or not (for example it's rare to find an editor on
the Mac that renders either Monaco 9 or 10 antialiased... I'm sure that even changing the
functionality to handle this would be great).

It's possible to change the font that Eclipse picks up from the system, but this would alter the
appearance of some other applications in OS X (I believe it's the System font being used here,
which is typically set to be Lucida Grande 13).
