Project Explorer issue in Ubuntu Linux The keyboard navigation with left(collapse) / right (expand) is not working. Version: Neon (4.6) RC1 Build id: I20160512-1000 Note: I compared the behavior of Project Explorer in Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) - left/right does not work in Linux, but works in Windows. - up/down works both in Linux and Windows
Note: I observed the same behavior for Package Explorer
This is most likely SWT (tree) specific issue.
This is expected default platform behaviour on GTK+ and not a bug in SWT/Eclipse. Please use [Shift + Left] and [Shift + Right] to navigate the tree items via the keyboard on Linux (GTK+). However, it is possible to configure GTK+ to allow navigating trees by using the left and right arrow keys alone, please refer to [1] for detailed instructions.
