Allow to edit code formatter preview.

Reason:
1) I would like to be able to see what happens to my existing code (style) when
changing some preferences. Currently I have to
- open the preferences
- change it
- apply it
- leave the preferences
- format my file
and it is hard to see what gets changed.

2) The preview might not show all cases (see e.g. bug 48951).

Another idea is to take the current file as the preview file. Doing so would 
give you better feedback on what you are changing.
