Description Gary Gregory CLA 2003-11-18 18:47:46 EST
Ant support is getting there! Pretty cool! BUT...

I have a build.xml which is 1007 lines and it takes b/w 4 and 5 seconds to save
to disk. I would be nice to improve performance in this area.

Moving to Platform/Ant.
Comment 3 Darin Swanson CLA 2004-03-19 18:04:04 EST
We will be doing more performance passes in M9 but this should be greately
improved from when this bug was filed.
Comment 4 Darin Swanson CLA 2004-05-12 15:25:22 EDT
Gary are you still seeing problems in this area?
Comment 5 Gary Gregory CLA 2004-05-12 22:02:58 EDT
Using version 3.0.m8 seems much faster, 1 or 2 seconds, definitevely acceptable.
The build file is ~now 2700 lines. Thank you.

That is one biiiiiggg build file! Glad the speed is working for you
Going to mark this as worksforme as cannot reproduce any significant problems
either (but my test case is only 1700 lines :-) )
